Hanson is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and ensure client projects are executed to a high-level of quality, while directing and managing scope according to the project plan, schedule, and budget. We’re seeking candidates that have the ability to manage multiple priorities, are extremely organized, have strong leadership qualities, are detail-oriented, are natural communicators, are familiar with web and app technologies, and possess the desire and ability to learn and master agency processes.
Position reports to Director of Operations.
Key day-to-day project contact with internal teams, client partners and other agency partners
Accountable to deliver work that is on time and on budget
Clearly communicate with cross-functional teams (internal and external) to ensure scope of project is clearly defined and understood
Leads and/or supports the development of detailed project Statements of Work, estimates and timelines, partnering with Account Management and other department Directors
Works closely with the Director of Operations and Traffic Manager to effectively communicate high-level resource needs during initial the entire project life cycle
Ensures the Functional Architects and production leads maintain accurate documentation of project requirements and details, utilizing all of the relevant feedback to inform effective project plans and timelines
Responsible for setting up plans and processes that drive projects forward, ensuring successful delivery with high client satisfaction
Identifies potential project risks and leads team to develop contingency plans
Manages client objectives, expectations, budget and timelines, and communicates directional changes to internal team members
Owns project management and workflow data entry and reporting
Communicates proactively vs. reactively in order to maximize problem-solving options
Motivates, organizes, and challenges teams to produce great work
Experience and Qualifications
3-5 years of experience in project management at an agency or in a corporate role
You don’t need to know HTML, but you’ll need familiarity with digital solutions including website development, mobile app development, online advertising campaigns and/or social media
Ability to effectively read, manage and motivate team members of different skillsets, personalities, and communication styles
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple concurrent tasks/projects with flexibility in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and deliver quality results
Demonstrable project planning, organization, and time management skills and assessment capabilities as well as effective presentation skills
Ability to establish an independent view and effectively collaborate in decision making with cross-functional partners
Strong Project Management skills with ability to monitor and report on project status, budgets, schedules and resource management
Proven track record in a client-service environment including presenting work and the ability to link people (including team members and stakeholders), ideas, and information throughout a project life
We value skills and qualities above all else, but a degree or PMP certification is a plus

This position is out of our Toledo, OH office. We are currently working in a hybrid work-from-home and in-office model, so you’ll be collaborating with Hanson teams in person and/or via Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Slack and email.
