
Situation
Zaner-Bloser is a leading publisher of elementary literacy and character development programs, but interactive strategy was new subject matter. The company engaged Hanson to help explore a new chapter in interactive brand experiences and bring its suite of sites to the head of the class.

Discovery and Definition
We began with a Discovery process that allowed us to dig deep into the minds of employees and educators' perspectives that would prove invaluable in shaping a long-term interactive strategy for the company. With an understanding of the customers it needed to serve, we could then get to work creating an extraordinary user experience.
The resulting plan called for simple but profound changes including improved navigation and organization, as well as a bolder approach to branding and graphics. Sample pages let users preview materials easily; and a new content management system helps staff to keep the site's content up-to-date consistently and cost-effectively.
